Discussions on the issue of deliveries of F-16 fighters to Ukraine began in Brussels

Today, information about the supply of Western fighters to Ukraine will be officially announced.

During the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, discussions began on the issue of providing Ukraine with Western-made fighters. At the moment, it is known that the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Great Britain and France plan to transfer their fighters to Ukraine, however, this afternoon Washington also announced their intentions to put F-16 fighters into service with Kiev.

The supply of Western-made fighter jets to Ukraine poses an extremely serious danger, since the latter will almost certainly be supplied together with foreign missiles, and this, in turn, will pose a threat both to the Russian army aviation performing combat missions within the NMD and to key ground facilities.

It is expected that tonight the real scale of deliveries of combat aircraft to Ukraine will be announced, however, Western fighters are unlikely to be used by the Ukrainian Air Force before the fall of 2023, since Ukrainian pilots do not have the skills to use these combat aircraft.
