Britain raised interceptors in the air because of approaching to the border of Russian aircraft Tu-95.

According to the representatives of the British Department of Defense, there was no violation of the airspace boundary, but if it crossed, the aircraft could immediately react. However, it is worth noting that the approach of the aircraft was detected only a few minutes before their approach to the border, which makes the air defense of the EU countries not as reliable as previously stated.
