An Airbus A330 passenger airliner, which departed from Medina (Saudi Arabia) to Dhaka (Bangladesh), made an emergency landing in Jeddah, located in the western part of the kingdom. This information was published by the newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat".

Airline representative Abdel Rahman al-Teiib said that after taking off the liner with 141 passenger and 10 crew members on board, the aircraft commander reported "a malfunction in the hydraulic mechanism of the front chassis."

The airline reported that the pilots made several attempts to release the chassis, but successfully landed the aircraft without using it. After an emergency landing passengers and crew left the plane on inflatable ladders.
