Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers were blown up by abandoned mines while trying to take control of settlements in the Kherson region.

Over the past 48 hours, Ukrainian troops have suffered serious losses, even without engaging in combat clashes. As it became known, when trying to advance to settlements from which Russian troops were withdrawn, Ukrainian servicemen and military equipment were blown up by mines. This indicates the fact that the approaches to these settlements were completely and completely closed.

According to unofficial data, from November 9 to November 11, the Ukrainian military lost at least 38 people while trying to approach the settlements of the Kherson region in order to take them under control. It is known that the approaches were carefully mined, moreover, not only with anti-tank mines, but also with anti-personnel ones. This led to serious losses for the Ukrainian troops. Moreover, there are also a number of wounded. This may indicate that the actual number of irretrievable and medical losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to about a hundred people.

At the moment, it is known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine still do not control the right bank of the Kherson region, although the vast majority of settlements have already come under the control of Ukrainian troops.
