112: Restrictions have been introduced at Sheremetyevo due to the threat of UAVs

Telegram channel “112” reported the introduction of restrictions at Sheremetyevo airport due to the threat of unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the Sheremetyevo press service, the airport is operating as usual, and all flights are operating as scheduled. There have been no official details of any drone threats that could impact airport operations. However, Baza journalists also provided similar data on the restrictions introduced.

At the same time, there were reports that the skies over a number of cities, including Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, were temporarily closed due to the threat of an air attack. These measures were taken as a precaution due to the increased threat of drone attacks.

Separately, it is worth noting that in the Oryol region a Ukrainian drone was successfully shot down by air defense forces. This incident did not result in casualties or destruction; emergency services were sent to the site to assess the situation.
