The American military command rejected the offer of the Ukrainian military to fly American B-52 strategic bombers over the eastern part of Ukraine, fearing that the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics might be armed with air defense systems capable of shooting down strategic aircraft when entering the airspace of the self-proclaimed republics, which only indicates the fact that Washington is completely unprepared for military action.

According to available data, the reason why American strategic aircraft did not dare to enter the airspace over the DPR and LPR is that the Ukrainian side did not provide guarantees that the self-proclaimed republics did not have air defense weapons that could threaten American aircraft. This case is far from the only one, in particular, American strategic drones also do not risk violating the airspace in the eastern part of Ukraine, obviously, realizing that they will immediately be fired upon.

Experts, in turn, note that this fact demonstrates that the American forces are not even ready for local conflicts, and therefore the demonstration of force in relation to Russia is very, very doubtful.
