Russian airline "Yakutia"Ceased to operate Ukrainian aircraft An-140.

Proceeding from the statement made by the representative of the domestic air carrier, the portal Avia.pro became aware that the termination of the operation of passenger aircraft An-140 First of all, it is connected with their low efficiency for carrying passengers through the current routes of the aircraft operator. Among other things, the airline "Yakutia" also associates its refusal to operate the An-140 aircraft due to the fact that supplies of spare parts to these aircraft were discontinued from the Kharkov Aviation Plant, and therefore it is not possible to repair aircraft.

It is worth noting that the airline "Yakutia" is far from being the only Russian carrier that refused to operate Ukrainian aircraft - several other domestic aircraft operators came to this conclusion, while the reasons remain the same - expensive maintenance, low efficiency and lack of spare parts for carrying out repairs.
