The plane eruption

Air traffic in Alaska paralyzed by volcanic ash

Due to the volcanic eruption Sheveluch, part of Alaska remains paralyzed for air traffic.

At the moment the volcano Sheveluch recognized as relatively safe, but the volcanic ash that was thrown out on the eve of the volcano, carries a certain danger to air travel in Alaska. The ban on flights touched absolutely all aircraft in the first place this is due to very poor visibility, and the first forecasts of the situation can be clarified only closer by Tuesday.

Emissions from the volcano ash Sheveluch already not uncommon - only a few cases were reported in the past and this year, but of ash, which occurred on Friday, brought the first serious implications for aviation.
