Aircraft of European airlines were banned from entering the airspace of Moldova and the PMR.

A series of attacks and explosions on the territory of the self-proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has significantly increased the risk of an armed conflict in the region. In this regard, foreign air carriers began to fly around the airspace of Moldova and the unrecognized PMR.

Taking into account the data provided by the air situation monitoring services, at the moment the airspace of Moldova and the PMR is completely empty. However, it is important to pay attention to the fact that Moldova or the EU countries have not officially banned flights in the airspace of this region.

At the moment, the situation in Transnistria is extremely difficult. In particular, after the attack on the building of the Ministry of State Security, several explosions took place on the territory of the self-proclaimed republic, aimed at strategically important objects in the region. Specialists draw attention to the fact that a sharp aggravation of the situation should be expected within the next 24-48 hours, even despite the fact that Russian peacekeeping forces are located on the territory of Pridnestrovie.
