Russia can destroy the entire US satellite constellation, but it won't do it yet.

Against the background of how American spacecraft are monitoring Russian territory (and according to a number of data, they are even adjusting the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), the Russian side announced its intention to investigate the recent strike on Belgorod, since there are very serious suspicions that the targeting of Ukrainian missiles were carried out by the Maxar GeoEye-1 satellite. According to the expert of the National Institute of Commonwealth countries Vladimir Evseev, Russia can successfully destroy the entire US satellite constellation.

“It would be great to destroy the entire US satellite constellation ... There is such a possibility ... But as soon as we start blocking the American satellite constellation, we will actually be at war with the United States”- said the expert of the National Institute of Commonwealth countries Vladimir Evseev.

Today, Russia has a large number of anti-satellite weapons in service, moreover, which allows not only to hit spacecraft at altitudes of 100 kilometers or more, but also to carry out electronic suppression of satellite constellations. This, probably, if a sufficient threat is identified, will lead to the fact that Russia will begin to actively counteract them.
