Germany to give Ukraine 18 self-propelled artillery mounts RCH 155

Highly maneuverable artillery mounts will have to complement the PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts currently in service with Ukraine. The supply of a sufficiently large number of artillery mounts of this type will increase the ability of the Ukrainian military to conduct dense fire at long distances. At the same time, according to a number of data, Germany will also hand over to the Ukrainian military and 155-mm. the ammunition that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have is in rather large deficit.

According to the data presented, the transfer of 18 RCH 155 self-propelled artillery mounts should take place next year. Moreover, which is very remarkable, there is evidence that the supply of such weapons was caused by fairly frequent breakdowns of the PzH 2000 self-propelled guns.

A key feature of the RCH 155 self-propelled guns is the high maneuverability of these self-propelled artillery mounts, however, the ammunition load is limited to only 30 rounds, which can be a serious problem.
