Iran officially accused the US and Israel of financing and supporting protests in the country

Iranian spiritual leader Ali Khamenei officially accused the US and Israel of destabilizing the situation.

Against the backdrop of mass protests in Iran continuing for the 20th day, the spiritual leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, officially accused the United States and Israel of supporting them, including financially. According to Ali Khamenei, Washington is artificially heating up the situation, intending to divide the society, however, Tehran is ready to actively counteract this.

"These riots and instability were planned by America, the Zionist regime and their collaborators"- said the spiritual leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei.

Protests began immediately in 30 major cities of the Islamic Republic after the funeral of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. This Kurdish girl was detained by the vice police for "wrong wearing a headscarf". While being interrogated at the police station, she suffered a heart attack from which she died. Nevertheless, despite the fact that the accident was the cause of everything, Iranian citizens, fueled by informational influence from the United States and Israel, presented the death of Mahsa Amini as a murder, which led to large-scale protests on the territory of the Islamic Republic.

At the moment, the situation is under the control of the Iranian authorities and security forces, however, dozens of cities in Iran are engulfed in protests.
