Residents of the Kherson and Nikolaev regions report extremely high activity of Russian military aviation.

The high activity of the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Nikolaev-Kherson direction was first noted the night before. It is known that Russian combat helicopters are actively flying in the region, and flights are carried out at low and extremely low altitudes. This indicates that Russian aviation is thus hiding from the possible use of Ukrainian military air defense systems. The reasons for the high activity have not yet been disclosed, however, such actions may well indicate an attempt to break through the Ukrainian defense, although there is no official confirmation of this.

At the moment, it is known that we are talking about helicopters that fly almost throughout the entire region. Information about the strikes inflicted by Russian military aviation has not yet received any confirmation, although information on this matter has appeared. It is noteworthy that two days ago, 14 military helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces were spotted near the border with Ukraine at once, which could be sent to the Crimea, and from there to the Kherson region, but no official statements were made in this regard.

Among other things, the increased activity of Russian military aviation may also be associated with increased shelling of the territory of the Kherson region by artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.
