An incident involving a burning military plane crashing over Sevastopol

In Crimea, an incident occurred with a military plane crashing, presumably after it was shot down. Reports of the event began to spread on social networks, where residents posted videos of the burning plane falling. Some videos also show a parachute, which may indicate that the pilot managed to eject before the plane crashed.

Information about the incident appeared under conditions of an air raid warning, as noted by messages in the Telegram channel "ChP/Sevastopol". The channel claims that the video of the incident was distributed by sources hostile to Russia, while emphasizing the possibility of “friendly fire”—friendly fire—as one of the reasons for the plane crash.

“The plane caught fire after the alarm was announced. Videos are published by local and enemy resources. Judging by the footage, the pilot was able to eject. Some local resources write that the reason is once again a friendly fire, while other resources claim that the plane crashed due to technical problems.”- said in the message.

Another “Telegram” channel “Fighterbomber” clarifies that we are talking about the Su-35 aircraft, which crashed near Sevastopol. It has not yet been officially confirmed whether the plane was shot down or suffered a technical failure, however, according to the channel, the incident looks like a shoot down. Information about the pilot's condition is also provided: according to preliminary data, he was saved and everything is fine with him.

The governor also commented on this information:

“A military plane crashed into the sea. I see that Ukrainian public pages publish a lot of different information. No civilian objects were damaged. The pilot ejected. He was picked up by rescuers from the Sevastopol Rescue Service at a distance of two hundred meters from the shore. His life is not in danger."- said Razvozhaev.
