In an interview with Argumenty i Fakty, Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov expressed his opinion on Ukraine's position regarding Crimea, arguing that Kyiv is ready to use any methods to return the peninsula. Peskov emphasized the inadmissibility of the existence of a state on the borders of Russia that is inclined to resolve the issue of Crimea by force. He also stated that it is illogical to consider any agreements with Ukraine without the participation of Russia, hinting at the futility of such discussions.

Peskov condemned the idea that Ukraine could make any claims to new Russian territories, pointing out the absurdity of such proposals. He also accused Ukraine of being infected with the “bacillus of neo-Nazism,” arguing that it was since 2014 that this trend has taken hold in the country, having not found a similar spread in other regions of the world, including Europe and America.

Peskov stressed that Russia is taking the necessary measures to ensure its own future, including fighting the threats emanating from Ukraine.
