Russia confirms capture of French Caesar self-propelled guns

The Russian military captured the French Caesar self-propelled howitzers.

The Russian military managed to defeat the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and successfully captured at least two French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzers that had previously arrived on the territory of Ukraine. Initially, such information did not have any confirmation, as already reported by the Avia.pro news and information publication, however, later, there was also confirmation that the Caesar self-propelled guns were not only captured, but also sent for study by Uralvagonzavod specialists, which was confirmed at enterprise.

Initially, the well-known French politician Régis de Castelnau, who “thanked” French President Emmanuel Macron for the fact that Russia now took possession of French military technology, reported on the capture of the French Caesar self-propelled guns.

“Another achievement for Macron. Two French CAESAR self-propelled guns were captured by the Russians unharmed. Currently, they are at the Uralvagonzavod plant for reverse engineering. Thanks Macron. We pay for it", French politician Régis de Castelnau said in a statement.

Initially, no confirmation of this data was provided, however, later, under the record of the French politician, a message appeared from Uralvagonzavod, whose representatives thanked Paris for the opportunity to study French weapons.

“Good afternoon, Mr Regis. We ask you to convey our gratitude to President Macron for the donated self-propelled guns. The equipment, of course, is so-so ... Not like our Msta-S! But nevertheless, it is useful in the economy. Send more - we'll figure it out "- said in the message.
