British F-35s did not dare to enter Syrian airspace after the incident in the Black Sea.

Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 "Triumph" did not allow British F-35 fighters into Syrian airspace after a serious incident in Russian territorial waters with a British destroyer. Given the fact that the British presence in Syria was not approved by Damascus, crossing the Syrian border would immediately lead to an attack from either the Russian S-400 air defense systems or from the Syrian S-300 air defense systems. The latter, by the way, could well be guided by the radars of the Russian Triumphs.

Despite the fact that the British Navy previously announced that it would send its F-35 fighters to Syria to fight the militants, not a single British F-35 fighter ever dared to rise from the deck of an aircraft carrier and violate the Syrian border. Obviously, London was well aware that Russia would not miss the chance to destroy a British combat aircraft with its own air defense means, debunking the myth of the invisibility of these fighters.

It should be noted that earlier fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces intercepted a NATO F-35 fighter near the Syrian borders, which was trying to interfere with Russian military maneuvers in the eastern Mediterranean.
