The Russian “21st Century aircraft” crashed during a test flight.

During a test flight in Zhukovsky, the Russian passenger airliner MS-21, which is called the “aircraft of the 21st century,” had to make an emergency landing. The reason for this turned out to be so banal that it raises a number of doubts about the safety of the entire aircraft structure, in particular, we are talking about a breakdown of the landing gear hydraulic system.

“During the test flight, the aircraft experienced a technical malfunction associated with hydraulics - the landing gears did not go away”- said the source of the TASS news agency.

Experts, in turn, argue that the hydraulic system of the chassis is quite simple, and its breakdown indicates that, when developing this system, specialists paid insufficient attention to it.

“The hydraulic system of the landing gear is quite simple - in fact, with a qualified approach, there’s nothing to break down here, especially since we are talking about testing an airplane, where the hydraulic system, in fact, does not even have any wear”, - the expert Avia.pro marks.
