CAA covered the Turkish military with a Tochka-U missile strike

The Syrian army covered the Turkish military with a Tochka-U missile strike.

After a little more than a day ago, the Syrian army used its Tochka-U tactical missile systems to destroy a large parking lot near the Turkish border, where illegal smuggling of oil is carried out to neighboring Turkey. It became known that Turkish soldiers were also hit by tactical missiles. It is for this reason that the Turkish Ministry of Defense gave the order to strike at the Syrian Air Force base in the Aleppo region.

At the moment, it remains unknown whether Turkey has any losses, however, a number of sources claim that in the territory destroyed by the cluster warhead of the Tochka-U missile, there were several dozen Turkish military and armored vehicles, apparently carrying out security and subsequent escort of convoys with smuggled oil to Turkey.

Considering the capabilities of Tochka-U tactical missiles, if the Turkish equipment really was in the specified area, then it almost certainly received either serious damage or was completely destroyed, which caused anger from Ankara.

Ankara itself indirectly admits the fact that there are Turkish soldiers in the area.

“The rocket fire was fired from the Kuweirs airfield, which is under the control of the Syrian regime. The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure and fuel trucks north of al-Bab and Jarablus. Immediately after the shooting in the area of Operation Euphrates Shield, a notification was sent to the Russian side and return fire was opened at the source of the shelling. Our troops are following the development of the situation ", - said in the message of the Turkish Defense Ministry.

Turkey has not officially announced possible losses from a Syrian missile strike.
