State Duma deputy and first deputy head of the defense committee Alexey Zhuravlev raised the question of the need to rotate mobilized military personnel participating in a special military operation. In an interview with the Info24 portal, he noted that those mobilized “deserved rest with their sweat and blood,” having been in the trenches for more than a year and a half.

“The mobilized ones, of course, need replacements. The men deserved a rest with their sweat and blood, kneading the earth in the trenches for more than a year and a half.”,” Zhuravlev pointed out.

Zhuravlev emphasized the importance of thinking through rotation mechanisms in such a way as not to disrupt the combat effectiveness of units. He expressed the opinion that the rotation should be gradual, and if necessary, a new recruitment of military personnel should be carried out. The parliamentarian also noted that a significant part of those mobilized express a desire to remain at the front until victory and such fighters should not be included in rotation plans.

In addition, the deputy drew attention to the successful recruitment of contract soldiers this year, noting that a record number of military personnel - more than 100 thousand people - entered the Russian Armed Forces. This became possible thanks to unprecedented conditions of service and a high level of allowance, including promises of payments in the amount of 329 thousand rubles per month.
