Residents of Kharkiv report NASAMS systems seen on the outskirts of the city.

Despite the fact that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the arrival of NASAMS systems in Ukraine, it became known that these weapons have been in Ukraine for at least a week. As it turned out, the residents of Kharkov and Nikolaev drew attention to some launchers, which, allegedly, turned out to be NASAMS systems delivered from the United States - the latter have been in the area for about a week.

At the moment, it is known that at least two launchers are deployed in the north and east of Kharkov. It is noted that similar launchers are also located in the suburbs of Nikolaev, however, it remains unknown how many specific NASAMS installations are in question.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the weapons provided by the United States have already arrived on the territory of Ukraine.

"I want to thank President [Joe] Biden for the positive decision that has already been made, and the US Congress, we got NASAMS", - said Vladimir Zelensky.

In all likelihood, it was for the same reason that a few days ago it became known about the deployment of decoys by the Ukrainian military to mask the presence of real launchers.

At the moment, there are no details regarding the supply of NASAMS air defense systems to Ukraine, however, earlier it became known about the supply of several batteries of these weapons, which may indicate the transfer of two dozen launchers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. How effective such weapons can be is unknown.
