Arab news agencies published photos of the Russian T-14 Armata tank in the Syrian desert, where the tank was presumably tested in combat conditions, as previously stated by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. This is reported to be the first evidence of that the Russian tank really visited Syria.

Nevertheless, according to the information of the Sina publication, which had previously stated that the test of the tank in Syria was far-fetched, the photographs of the Russian “Armata” are the result of photo montage and have nothing to do with reality.

Initially, the publication draws attention to the photograph that appeared in the Russian media.

“Just a few days ago, a photograph of the Syrian government army and the T-14 tank on the battlefield caused a stir in the circles of military experts. This image shows the Syrian flag, and the photo was released by Russian regular media. The current photo, obviously, is a simple overlay of the image of the T-14 tank and symbols on the background in one of the regions of Syria. This completely refutes the information that the T-14 was used in battles in Syria ", - comments the previously appeared photo edition of "Sina".

Photo montage traces were also seen in another photograph, where a Russian tank was allegedly depicted in the desert when striking an enemy. According to journalists, such an event would not have escaped the eyes of local residents and the Syrian military, and the low quality of the photo indicates an attempt to hide the traces of the photo montage.
