The Government of Tunisia is ready to pay airlines up to 40% of seats on charter flights from Russia.

Such measures were previously undertaken by Turkey in order to maintain passenger flow from Russia, and it is expected that such actions on the part of the Tunisian authorities will allow air carriers to establish a normal running of charter flights between the two countries.

It is worth to clarify that the passenger flow of charter flights over the past six months between Russia and Tunisia declined by an average of 18-20%, and at the ongoing negotiations, the Tunisian government offers air carriers to fill at least 50% of all seats in passenger airliners - other costs Is expected to be covered from the state budget of Tunisia.
