Russian S-400 did not appear in service with Turkey.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that the Russian S-400 Truimf air defense systems will be put on combat duty by the beginning of April, however, despite this, there is no information on the adoption of these systems by the Turkish military , which may mean that due to unknown reasons, the deadlines for putting the S-400 into operation were disrupted.

At the moment, there is no information about what could have caused the failure to commission the S-400 air defense system, however, experts believe that in reality, Ankara is already using these air defense / missile defense systems, but it does not intentionally advertise it, fearing that in the context of the active spread of coronavirus, US sanctions can seriously affect the rating of the Turkish leader and the economy of this state.

On the other hand, the reasons may well lie in a number of other factors, including the impossibility of placing the S-400 on combat duty due to the difficult situation with the coronavirus, so, in particular, problems with the sending of the Russian military or even opposition by the Russian side against the background of Turkey's non-compliance with the agreements on Syria.

At the moment, there are no official comments from Ankara on this subject.
