Turkey has shown genuine interest in the latest Russian fifth-generation light fighter, the Su-75. The reason for this is not only the desire of the Turkish side to arm themselves with modern combat aircraft, but also to obtain a fighter that can be used on aircraft carriers planned for construction for the Turkish Navy.

At the same time, Western media report about the likely imminent conclusion of a contract between Russia and Turkey regarding the supply of Su-75 fighters to the Turkish Air Force.
