A Turkish drone fired a missile on an An-26 military transport aircraft.

The Turkish military published a video showing the moment of the attack on the An-26 military transport aircraft, which had previously delivered rocket weapons to one of the military bases. As a result of a missile hit, the plane was completely destroyed, while data on the injured and the dead have not yet appeared.

The Turkish drone attack was carried out about a month ago, although until now it was assumed that the plane was shot down by militants from a portable anti-aircraft missile system, which misled the experts. In fact, a Turkish attack unmanned aerial vehicle launched a missile strike on a military transport aircraft just moments before the latter landed.

In the picture presented, you can see that the rocket, apparently, hit the tail of the aircraft - according to sources in the forces of the Government of National Unity, the aircraft was delivering missiles to one of the bases of the Libyan National Army, however, representatives of Haftar's forces deny this statement, noting that there were medicines on board the aircraft intended to combat the coronavirus. At the moment, it remains unknown where exactly the plane flew from and which of the countries it belonged to, however, the initially appeared information that the plane was Russian was completely refuted.
