The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian positions in the Kherson region.

The unexpected attack escalated into serious clashes between the Russian and Ukrainian armies, however, the Ukrainian troops failed to break through the defensive lines.

“In the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the forces of up to three company tactical groups, made unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of Russian troops in the direction of the settlements of Kachkarovka, Pyatikhatki and Sadok in the Kherson region. After inflicting fire damage, enemy units, having suffered significant losses, were dispersed and retreated., - informs the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Among other things, it was previously reported about serious clashes between the Ukrainian and Russian military in the area of ​​\uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe settlement of Snigirevka, where the fighting continued for several hours, but so far there have been no official statements on this matter.
