In the capital of Russia, traffic police officers detained 29-year-old native of Tajikistan Kakhramon Merganov, who aroused suspicion with his behavior during a road check. The incident occurred in the evening when Merganov was driving a Mazda 3. According to the Mash Telegram channel, his noticeable nervousness became the reason for a more thorough search by law enforcement agencies.

During the check, messages of an anti-Russian nature were found on Merganov’s phone, which he exchanged with citizens of Ukraine and Tajikistan. It is also noted that Merganov had experience in Kyiv, which likely contributed to the establishment of ties with the Ukrainian side.

Against the backdrop of the discovered data, a decision was made to detain Merganov for further investigation aimed at clarifying the details of his possible connection with Ukrainian intelligence. As part of the verification activities, both the car and the mobile phone were temporarily seized from the detainee.
