Foreign mercenaries have been implicated in new attacks on DPR positions.

Attacks on DPR positions along the front line were associated with the deployment of foreign mercenaries in the Donbas. It is known that so-called foreign military instructors were in the Donbas at the beginning of October. This does not exclude the possibility that active assistance in the attacks on the DPR positions and the seizure of the settlement of Staromaryevka was carried out with the direct participation of foreign mercenaries, including from the American PMC Blackwater.

Earlier, a source in the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that foreign military instructors, including from the United States, Great Britain and a number of other Western countries, are constantly in the front-line areas, on the territory controlled by Kiev. Moreover, information has repeatedly appeared that Kiev hired several hundred foreign mercenaries to conduct special operations in the Donbass and sabotage in the territory of the LPR and DPR. There is no direct evidence of the involvement of Western mercenaries in new attacks in Donbass, however, independent experts draw attention to the fact that Ukraine began to act quite professionally, while the general level of equipment in the Ukrainian army has not actually changed.

Experts do not exclude that if the situation in Donbass continues to worsen, the DPR and LPR may resort to using the help of Russian private military companies. At the moment, there are no statements on this score either from Lugansk or from Donetsk.
