In the area of the Kinburn Spit, a sea drone-kamikaze of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed

On the Kinburn Spit in the Kherson region, Russian troops successfully repelled an attack by a Ukrainian naval kamikaze drone moving along the Dnieper. This was announced by a shooter of the anti-drone group of the Dnepr group of troops with the call sign "Daniel" in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, reconnaissance units warned in advance about the approach of an enemy craft, which allowed the Russian military to prepare to repel the attack. The target was fired from various types of small arms, including a 30-mm AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun. The ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun has proven to be particularly effective in combating water targets, including Ukrainian landing boats and naval drones.

This incident is part of large-scale actions taking place in the region. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a high-precision missile strike on a hangar in Odessa, where, according to them, unmanned boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were being prepared. It is interesting that, according to a report by the American television channel CNN, the strike was carried out near the place where the motorcade of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who arrived on a visit to Odessa, was located.
