MiG-31K fighters with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles returning from Belarus to Russia may be a strategic move by the military command

The MiG-31K fighters that returned to Russia could become an even bigger problem for Kyiv.

After it became known a few days ago that Russian MiG-31K fighter jets had returned from neighboring Belarus to military bases in Russia, a number of questions arose as to why these aircraft, which effectively negated any large-scale counterattack by the Ukrainian army, ceased to be on the territory neighboring state, from the airspace of which it was possible to strike at absolutely any point on the territory of Ukraine. Nevertheless, apparently, we are talking about a new tactic, and, possibly, a strategy on the part of the Russian military.

As Avia.pro experts note, being on the territory of neighboring Belarus, the planes were always controlled by a group of observers and information about the sorties was transmitted to the Ukrainian military, which neutralized the effect of surprise. Moreover, the recent attack on the Russian A-50U aircraft could be repeated against the Russian carriers of the "Daggers". However, the transfer of aircraft back to Russia will not affect the delivery of strikes by hypersonic missiles "Dagger", in case such a need arises, moreover, this can be done more quickly and safely, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to receive data on the flights of Russian carriers of hypersonic weapons.
