The Armed Forces of Ukraine undertook a large-scale landing on the left bank of the Dnieper.

Around midnight, a group of 250 Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries tried to make a large-scale landing on the left bank of the Dnieper, with the aim of probably capturing Energodar and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. As follows from official data, the landing was planned to be carried out on the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir in the region of Energodar and Dneprorudny.

According to the data provided by the current hour, as a result of the identification of Ukrainian units, the latter were successfully suppressed by fire - at least 20 boats and boats were destroyed. After devastating losses on the Dnieper, part of the small boats turned around and tried to return to the right bank of the Dnieper, however, Russian heavy artillery struck at the landing site, as a result of which this led to additional losses - the Ukrainian military lost 47 people killed, including 10 foreign mercenaries, 23 - wounded.

It is known that helicopter flights could indeed be heard over Energodar at night, however, it was not initially assumed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would take such large-scale actions and try to make a second landing attempt on the left bank of the Dnieper.
