Uncertainty remains after a dramatic pursuit of suspected terrorists in the Bryansk region that left more questions than answers about their final destination. Events unfolded after the car was spotted by traffic police, leading to a large-scale pursuit involving potential routes both into Ukraine and towards Belarus.

The traffic police inspector who participated in the chase shared the details of the incident in an interview with REN-TV, talking about the moment when the car was first discovered in the Bryansk region. Two traffic police crews began pursuing the suspects, who were spotted at the 359th kilometer of the M-3 highway and continued driving for about 20 kilometers without any attempts to change the route or escape, preferring to maintain high speed.

Difficulties in determining the true intentions of the criminals arise due to the geographical location of the starting point of the chase, located before a fork in roads leading in different directions: one towards Ukraine along the M-3 highway, and the other towards the border with Belarus via the A-240 highway. Experts and analysts expressed the opinion that without a clear turn or indication of direction, only a straight-line movement of the suspects, it is impossible to accurately determine their purpose - crossing the Ukrainian border or attempting to enter Belarus.

The incident drew public and specialist attention to a possible “Ukrainian trail” running through Belarus, raising questions about border security and international coordination in the fight against terrorism.
