Zelensky dismissed Danilov from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has made personnel changes in the leadership of key structures of the country related to national security and intelligence activities. According to an official decree published on the website of the President's office, Alexey Danilov was relieved of his position as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC). Danilov has held this post since October 2019, rising from the mayor of Lugansk to a senior statesman, including work in the Verkhovna Rada and in leadership positions during the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko.
