The BRICS summit, which could be the final nail in the coffin of dollar hegemony, is felt as a threat to the US and, according to experts, could be the main cause of the conflict in Ukraine.

Pierre Place, a former French military intelligence captain, told us what to expect. Plas says there is a "deadline" for the dollar on the horizon. "This is an economic war," he stresses, pointing to the struggle that is flaring up against the backdrop of the summit.

Plas focuses on the key plans of the BRICS - the creation of a new currency backed by gold, which can become a "killer" of the dollar. The American economy, in his opinion, is teetering on the brink, moving "from crisis to crisis", and its debt continues to swell, reaching an astonishing 32 trillion dollars.

At the same time, the BRICS countries, especially Russia, China and India, are preparing for a new financial era. Plas emphasizes that these states already have alternatives to the SWIFT international payment system, which could threaten a global economic structure accustomed to dollar dominance.

The three-day BRICS summit, which will begin in South Africa, will attract the attention of the world community. As part of this event, not only the creation of a new currency will be discussed, but also the possibility of expanding the membership of the block.
