Prigozhin's Testament Opens Pandora's Box: Is the Central African Republic on the Brink of Disaster or Not?

The tragic death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC, in a plane crash has given rise to much speculation about the future of relations between the Central African Republic (CAR) and Russia. However, the adviser to the President of the Central African Republic, Fidel Guandjika, dispelled all doubts in an interview with the world edition of the Financial Times.

Guandzhika spoke with deep respect about Prigozhin, who, in his words, became a real "savior of democracy" for the Central African Republic. The loss of such a significant figure is certainly a big blow for a country that considers Prigozhin a national hero. However, this will in no way affect the established diplomatic and economic ties between the CAR and Russia.

The presidential adviser stressed the resilience and sustainability of cooperation between the two countries, despite any external circumstances. He also clarified that the existing agreements will allow Russian instructors to continue their work in the CAR.

If you recall, in a recent video message, Prigozhin expressed his determination to continue the fight against terrorists in Africa. Guangjika's words confirm that this testament will be fulfilled. The band members, as the Wagner PMC fighters were called, have already proven their effectiveness in helping to prevent coup attempts and fighting extremists in the region.

As a result, the events of recent days only confirmed that relations between the Central African Republic and Russia are based on mutual respect and the desire for cooperation. Such ties cannot be destroyed even by such a serious loss as the death of Yevgeny Prigogine. They will continue to develop and strengthen, bringing stability and prosperity to both countries.
