The Italian airline Alitalia will be sold by the end of the year.

At the moment, three companies are showing their interest in acquiring the largest Italian air carrier, in particular, the British low-cost carrier EasyJet, the German company Lufthansa and the Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair. It is reported that the management of EasyJet is showing the greatest interest in buying the Italian airline, since, in fact, after the UK left the EU, the presence of a controlled carrier here will give wider opportunities for business.

It should be clarified that, due to a rather large financial debt, the airline "Alitalia" is facing bankruptcy.
