Another type of Iranian ammunition was spotted on the territory of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military switched to the active use of Iranian 125-mm. OF19 ammunition, which is suitable for the vast majority of Ukrainian tanks. According to sources, the Ukrainian army is armed with about 2 ammunition of this type. At the same time, the shells are dated 2022, i.e. they appeared in service with the Ukrainian army after the start of the SVO.

At the moment, it remains unknown how exactly Ukraine got such a large consignment of ammunition, since the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation earlier reported that only Russian weapons and ammunition are used within the NMD, and the capture of such a large amount of ammunition as trophies is almost completely excluded.

To date, only if there is documentary evidence, this is already the fourth type of Iranian ammunition used by the Ukrainian army, although Iran categorically denies the earlier information that Tehran supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine with shells, but at the same time did not comment on the appearance of Iranian ammunition in the Armed Forces of Ukraine .
