Rosaviatsiya proposes to form an insurance fund for air passengers.

The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) announced the need to create a special insurance fund for air passengers, for which it is expected to charge an additional 10 rubles for each ticket sold, which will allow the export of citizens in case of any circumstances. On the other hand, the motives for fees remain unknown, since, in fact, the passenger pays for the services of the company, and the control over the carrier's activities should lie exclusively on the authorities.

It is necessary to clarify that the creation of an insurance fund is most likely due to the current situation around the company VIM-Avia, about 16 thousand of its passengers are still abroad.
