A detachment of Russian warships is sent to the shores of Venezuela.

This afternoon it became known that a detachment of Russian warships led by the frigate Admiral Gorshkov began passage through the Panama Canal, after which the ships of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy would be sent to the coast of Venezuela.

There are no official comments on this matter from the command of the Russian Navy at the moment, but experts draw attention to the fact that initially Russian military ships visited Ecuador, from where, most likely, they will head to the coast of Venezuela.

Remarkable is the fact that the American military hospital ship, which, according to some sources, is accompanied by several warships, has advanced into the same area. According to preliminary data, the final destination of the route of the American warship is the area near the territorial waters of Venezuela, as previously reported.

It should be clarified that taking into account the active interaction between Russia and Venezuela in the field of military cooperation, the likelihood that after the passage of the Panama Canal the ships will head to the coast of Venezuela is extremely high, but there is no official confirmation of this information.
