The battle, which continued to control the area near the village of Hamamiyat, led to large-scale casualties among the terrorists of the Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham group. According to the information provided, the militants attempted to attack the positions occupied by the Russian military, but at the very beginning of the attack, the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck a powerful blow that resulted in large-scale losses for the militants - according to one data, 27 militants were the victims of the air strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces, and according to others - 24 .

According to some reports, it was also possible to destroy the field commanders of the terrorists of the Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham group, which means that in the near future the attack on the Syrian and Russian military positions near the Hamamiyat settlement is not expected.

Moreover, it is reported that in addition to casualties by militants of manpower, warehouses of weapons, two installations of the MLRS, and several armored vehicles were destroyed.

It should be clarified that previously the Syrian military were forced to retreat from their positions, but after a successful counterattack, the settlement of Hammayat returned to the control of the Syrian government forces.
