The further fate of VIM-Avia depends on the decision of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

According to information and news agency Avia.pro, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is awaiting the final conclusion of the Federal Air Transport Agency on the submitted rescue plan for the air carrier VIM-Avia. In fact, this means that if the Federal Air Transport Agency does not find a proposal worthwhile and expedient, then the airline will most likely cease to exist.

It should be clarified that according to the proposed rescue plan for the carrier VIM-Avia, the company’s activity is planned to be limited to only a few of the most popular destinations, however, in this case the carrier is more likely not to go without additional financial injections, while further predicting development of events is almost impossible.
