In the plane of the Chinese airline, luggage caught fire.

As follows from the information provided by the press service of Guangzhou International Airport, during the landing of passengers on a flight to Shanghai, on the shelf for carry-on luggage there was a fire bag. By a lucky chance, none of the people were injured, and the fire could be quickly eliminated, so the damage to the cabin of the aircraft was minimal.

As part of a preliminary investigation, it was established that a lithium battery was the cause of the fire in hand luggage on board the aircraft, while experts do not exclude that the main circumstance was the spontaneous closure of the battery contacts.

It is reported that the incident did not affect the operation of Guangzhou airport, however, the flight to Shanghai was postponed to a later date.
