The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the temporary accommodation center for citizens of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LPR near the city of Starobelsk.

According to the representative office of the Lugansk People's Republic in the JCCC, tonight, a blow was struck on the territory of the temporary accommodation center for citizens of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Lugansk People's Republic near the city of Starobelsk using Himars MLRS. The strike was delivered with a single guided missile.

“At 01.35 VFU according to the settlement Starobelsk was struck with the use of MLRS HIMARS (1 missile). As a result of the shelling, a temporary accommodation center for citizens of the LPR Ministry of Emergency Situations on the outskirts of the city was damaged. No casualties have been reported, the damage is under investigation.", - reports the representative office of the LPR in the JCCC.

The circumstances of the strike have not yet been disclosed. However, it was not previously assumed that Starobilsk was in the zone of destruction of multiple launch rocket systems - in all likelihood, the missile was fired from the direction of Liman, which is currently under the control of the Ukrainian military. Given the strikes in this direction, experts believe that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may try to shell the highway connecting Svatovo with Starobelsk.
