Vladlen Tatarsky was a famous Donetsk militiaman who was born on April 25, 1982 in the city of Makeevka. He began his military career in the summer of 2014, participating in military operations in the Donbass under the command of field commander Igor Bezler. Later, he moved to the Vityaz unit, and then to the reconnaissance company of the fourth brigade of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, where he served until the end of 2014.

In the spring of 2015, Vladlen Tatarsky returned to the service and spent a year in the Vostok battalion. In 2017, he was sent to the battalion intelligence of the People's Militia of the LPR. He was known as an experienced and well-trained military man who often took part in battles and knew many military leaders in the Donbass.

In 2019, he started a personal blog on his telegram channel Vladlen Tatarsky. In his reports, he covered events in the DPR and LPR, collecting hundreds of thousands of views. Every day he laid out combat reports, opinions about what was happening at the front. He also wrote two books: The War and the autobiographical narrative The Run.

After the start of the special operation in Ukraine in 2022, Vladlen Tatarsky again came to the Donbass and was enrolled in the Vostok battalion. He promptly reported on all the events taking place in the DPR and LPR.

However, on April 2, 2023, Vladlen Tatarsky died during an explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg. According to preliminary information, another 30 people were injured. Tatarsky's death was a huge loss for everyone who followed his blog and reports.
