Only a helicopter can take!

GTRK Amur: “In December, 2018 of the year, the hill collapsed into the Bureya River, which feeds the Bureya Hydroelectric Power Plant, and blocked its course. As a result, the inflow of water to the reservoir of the power plant has decreased.

To restore the hydrological regime of the Bureysky reservoir, Il-76 and An-124 Ruslan plan to the Khabarovsk Territory to deliver more than 175 tons of cargo. About it reports the Ministry of Defense of Russia ".

An-124 "Ruslan" aircraft delivered 75 tons to the "Ukrainka" airfield. cargo. And from the Ukrainka airfield to the Bureya reservoir area, cargo is transported by helicopters, a distance of 300 km. The pilot from the Mi-26 proudly says that they brought 13t. cargo is four Mi-8 helicopters. This is understandable - delivering a large volume of cargo at a time is much more convenient and quicker than dividing it into four parts. You can imagine how much trouble it could be if you were to transport 75 tons. cargo with seven An-12 sides instead of one An-124, which performed this work at a time and cheaper! Here are just "cheaper" - not for the Mi-26, because finances negate all its advantages of a heavy-duty vehicle: "The cost of a flight hour of the Mi-26 is about 10 times more than that of the Mi-17" (AVI publication - Association of the Russian Helicopter Industry May 2007). In this case, transportation of cargo by one Mi-26 cost the State more than 2 times more if it was transported by four Mi-17s. But of the helicopters, the bulldozer is only able to transport the Mi-26, albeit with great difficulty. At the same time, it should be noted that he is not a record holder in weight: the B-12 helicopter of the transverse design transported more than his cargo by as much as five tons,

And in the future, this helicopter M.L. Mil intended to be upgraded under the designation B-12M. Unlike modernizations of the current gen. designers, who, after each modernization, increased the cost of the Mi-26, but the flight characteristics remained in their original form, the V-12M was supposed to carry a cargo weighing 40 tons. at a distance of 200 km. instead of 25t. at B-12 and a cargo weighing 30 tons at a distance of 500 km. instead of 20t. at B-12. You can also recall the modernization of the Mi-6 helicopter, this helicopter went into production with trapezoidal blades, and its maximum speed was = 200k / h. “In November 1959, an absolute world speed record of 262,92 km / h was set on it, which previously belonged to the United States.” Then wings + rectangular blades were installed on it, and in September 1966, the crew of “ship commander B.K. Galitsky flew over a closed 100 km. route with an average speed of 340 km / h "(MS Yatsunovich 1969), and the cruising speed increased from 200k / h. up to 250k / h, which in principle means a 25% reduction in the cost of one flight hour.

But the death of M.L. Mile to replace the V-12 was developed and launched into series the heavy Mi-26 helicopter as a more compact one. But its compact operation costs the State a pretty penny: one hour of flight already in 2013 cost 600 rubles. On the route "Ukrainka" - Bureya with a cruising speed of 000 km / h. (there and back 260 km.) It turns out flying time up to two and a half hours, or 600 million. rubles.

Apparently, the general designers of the cost center improved this helicopter according to the principle: "Yes, let the hand of the giver not become scanty" from the state. budget, leaving its flight performance at the original level. As for the fact that he can now fly with the selection of landing sites from the air, he did it from his first flight, for that he and the helicopter!

For our country today it has become natural, as it were, when the government realizes the real projects of the Kamov company by the government, despite the fact that strictly in the interests of the State are necessary the reverse actions, i.e. because of the extreme old age and the excessively high cost of Mi helicopters, Kamov projects should have turned on the green light for a long time!

Yes, no matter how! For example, with 2008, the project of a high-speed helicopter Ka-102 was developed and patented to replace the Mi-6 helicopter, the niche of which has long been empty. If Mi-26 had delivered explosives to Bureya weighing 13 ™ during a flight, then Ka-102 would have brought 10 ™.

or 40 tons of cargo Mi-26 would transport for 3 race, and the Ka-102 would do this work for 4 race, but much cheaper. Here are just for some reason the development of helicopters of domestic projects by the government is not funded, deliberately torpedoing the modern developments of the Kamov company. The impression is that Vashto imposed Vastobka on domestic helicopter development to the government of D. Medvedev Vasobok, therefore, with manic persistence, only production of morally and physically obsolete Mi equipment continues to the detriment of the long-running Ka-62 helicopters

and Ka-32-10AG; Ka-92 high-speed helicopters with a capacity of up to 30 passengers and Ka-102 with a capacity of up to 90 passengers whose projects are gathering dust under the cloth of no visible future.

Maybe the government of the Russian Federation has overstrained financial expenses for the construction of a plant for the assembly of the Italian AW139? Plus the support of the American Boeing, for which D. Medvedev has allocated as much as $ 7,8 billion? For the president of Russia, rich in natural resources, who was then Dmitry Medvedev, in all likelihood, such expenses seemed not so hot, but US President Barack Obama, in gratitude for this support to Boeing from unemployment, already patted Dmitry Medvedev on the back, straight still in a fatherly way, but almost with a tear in his eyes!

So on the mythical promises of the gene. The cost centers of the government somewhere find money and not small ones: “In 2016, it is planned to conclude an agreement with M. Mil Moscow-Helicopter Plant JSC to develop an advance project of a promising medium-sized commercial helicopter, worth 207 million rubles. Total project financing - 45,6 billion rubles. (Annual report of Rostvertol for 2015 year - VPK.name).

This is the most advanced project “Rachel”: “The project is intended to replace the Mi-8 / 17 helicopters. PSV is an average twin-engine helicopter that will reach 194 nodes (from the author: we think only American style) thanks to "streamlined forms of rotor blades and the fuselage." A helicopter of the weight category 10-12 tons (22 000 - 26 400 pounds) will be able to hold from 21 to 24 passengers. The helicopter, also known as B-37, has the traditional design of one main and one tail rotor. In the basic configuration, it will receive a convertible passenger and cargo salon. PSV will use new turboshaft engines, but details are not being announced yet (14.11.2012 / Aviation Today /).

And since this project is purely mock-up, a high-speed PBV project (prospective combat helicopter) based on Mi-24 has already been forgotten about it on the agenda today, no less valuable for the State (in monetary terms). The project is in the strictest confidence, because a high-speed helicopter with a tail rotor, according to the laws of aerodynamics, cannot even be devised for the illusory option, it is not in print either!
