India has received more than a hundred sets of Russian engines RD-33

Russia supplied India more than a hundred sets of engines RD-33.

In particular, the signed earlier between the "United Engine Building Corporation" and the Indian Air Force contract is fully executed and delivered aircraft engines designed primarily for the replacement of worn-out fighter planes MiG-29.

At the moment the Indian Air Force is armed with MiG-60 29, most of which are in need of modernization, and optimization for hot weather prevailing in the country almost all year round.

It should be noted that at the moment Russia is still the largest supplier of weapons and parts for the army in India, and in the near future conclusion of several more contracts, as well as working together on the production of weapons.
