The first flight prototype of the Il-112V aircraft flew from the airfield of the Voronezh Aviation Plant to Zhukovsky near Moscow.

In preparation for participation in the VII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021", the newest Russian military transport aircraft Il-112V flew for the first time from the airfield of the Voronezh Aviation Plant to Zhukovsky near Moscow. This was reported by representatives of the state corporation "Rostec".

In the near future, the aircraft will be fully prepared for participation in the VII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021", and in a few years it will begin to actively replace the obsolete An-26 aircraft.

It is known that the aircraft was specially designed in such a way as not only to carry out the transportation of military cargo, but also to carry out the landing, moreover, not only of military personnel, but also of the cargo itself. This will become a rather effective replacement for the outdated An-26 aircraft, which have almost completely exhausted their resource.

Experts do not exclude that other countries will also show interest in buying Russian Il-112V.
