USA: Russia will pay dearly for violations of the INF Treaty

One can only sympathize with Vladimir Putin. His wild anger directed at NATO and America haunts him.

According to the president, the most discussed and acute problem in Russian-American relations is the US withdrawal from the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles. They made this decision because Russia, in their opinion, constantly violated the terms of the treaty (and, first of all, this concerns the 9M729 Novator missile).

But Putin believes that America has already tried to gain military superiority in the world with the help of a global missile defense system.

According to experts, in the near future, Vladimir Putin will pay dearly for the fact that his country has violated the terms of this agreement. With such actions, he gave even more reasons to the United States and other NATO countries more reasons to tighten the economic sanctions that were introduced in 2014, after the seizure of Ukrainian Crimea.

In addition, Putin has jeopardized possible future arms control agreements, which he nevertheless planned to conclude.

The latent rage of the Russian president surfaced last year during an interview with Fox News journalist Chris Wallace. Then Putin indignantly spoke of betrayal, as well as the withdrawal of Russian troops from Germany. He called the US missile defense systems a direct threat to the security of the Russian Federation. According to him, such types of weapons as the 9M729 Novator missile are just weapons to overcome this system.

But be that as it may, Putin remains content, despite all the consequences for his country. He missed an opportunity to lift sanctions on Russia and attract investment that would boost savings.
