The Ukrainian military An-26 made a daring overflight in the air defense coverage area.

A few hours ago, the Ukrainian military transport aircraft An-26 made a very unusual flight from Kyiv to the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk). Despite the fact that this sector of airspace is perfectly covered by air defense systems, the Ukrainian military, for some unknown reason, decided to fly, maneuvering over the Dnieper at an altitude of only 100-200 meters in order to avoid detection and destruction by air defense systems.

Local sources have already reported on the strange activity of Ukrainian aviation, however, as it turned out, the aircraft was also successfully detected by the Flightradar 24 service. In all likelihood, the crew of the Ukrainian military aircraft turned on the transponders so that they would not be shot down by their own air defense systems, however, the flight itself raised a lot of questions.

At the moment, there is no reliable data on the strange flight of the Ukrainian An-26 aircraft, however, there is evidence that the flight was associated with the delivery of some weapons, the nature of which has not yet been disclosed. However, we may well be talking about the transfer of air defense systems, NATO-standard multiple launch rocket systems, or something else.

Judging by satellite images, there are currently no An-26 aircraft on the territory of nearby airfields. This may indicate that the aircraft has already departed in the opposite direction.
